That's what i was thinking.
EVEN if 9/11 was as we were told (pfffrrrt) introducing all kinds of freedom reducing means over 6 years later(!) to "protect" us while nothing of the kind happened in between seems odd to say the least.

The statistical likelihood of being killed by terrorists is so LOW to warrant even the expense of the less-intrusive, possibly less harmful biometric technology.

i have had my jewelry and important papers stolen by the NSA officers and also have seen it happen to others.
i mean out of my carry on while it went through search but i did not realize it until i got to my home.
the last time i saw them swipe a woman's jewelry i shouted loudly DID ANYONE LOSE JEWELRY? so they did not get away with it, pretended it was an accident.
if i had a shocker on, the woman would have lost her things and i would have been hurt.
beware of the NSA.
