Exactly, they don't understand that is how sthlm is "counted".
Stockholm city is composed of several small municipalities.
Then of course you have an inner city core, but that inner city core is not Stockholm city.
On top of this there is an even larger "greater Stockholm" that makes the land area really large.
This is what I have been trying to say, Sweden counts it differently and I'm sure they didn't do that just so it would look larger.
Once more I don't care which is "capital".

But municipalities like Solna, Sundbyberg and Huddinge can be counted to Stockholm. They are connected.

as long as copenhagen has 1.8 million peopple in an area less than half the size of stockholms län (1.9 mill) im not going to admit stockholm is the biggest city. !!´

Argghh!! Stockholm is not larger by definition!! Only the municipality is larger by defintion (ca. 800.000 in STHML). AND THIS DISCUSSION HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH AN ACTUAL CAPITAL OF SCANDINAVIA SINCE WE ARE NOT ONE COUNTRY!!! It is about BEING THE MOST IMPORTANT CITY in Scandinavia... Aren't you able to understand that? The sizes of Sweden and Denmark does NOT MATTER, only the sizes of the cities... Jesus Christ!!!

So give it a rest, sthlm is larger by definition.
I am not advocating that Sthlm has to be the capital of Scandinavia, shit I don't care if Trondheim would be the capital, I agree it is silly to assume Sthlm has to be the capital as the video proclaims.
Hey perhaps it is just me, I would still be proud of all the cities, I still think Copenhagen is nice.
I am merely pointing out the sizes according to calculations of each city.
Yes they are correct by international recognized standards.

Ok, people stop saying it's unfair that sthlm is using a larger area in calculating it's city size.
SO WHAT, this is what it is.
Sweden is also at least 5 times larger then Denmark, it also has a population of 9 million which is larger.
In the world and in the country of Sweden Stockholm and its city size is calculated the way it is, why the fuck would Sweden care if that constitutes the size of sjalland or jylland or all of Denmark.
Copenhagen might be more densely populated in it's core.

Actually Stockholm is bigger. But I must admit Copenhagen is more dense.

dette gir en kæmpe befolkningsmasse på et rellativt lille areal, som er uden sidestykke i hele scandinavien, så der er absolut inget tvivl om at københavn er den største by i scandinavien, hvilket da også er anerkendt i mange udenlandske leksika,

så bor der godt nok omkring 1,9 million i stockholms lân, men det tæller også et areal som svarer til hele sjælland, hvor der vel at mærke bor 2,4 millioner mennesker dertil kommer at der få kilometer fra københavn ligger sveriges tredje største by med ca. 400.000 indbyggere nemlig Malmø.
