love the sound of music - seen it 35 times. brought it back in singapore in 1976 and the re-runs ran for more than a month to full house till has to stop to air the new shows. :D julie is very talented. i visited salzburg eventually. i guess many people did that. :D

no the reason was that she had the surgery and there was damage to her vocal cords because the surgery to correct the damage carries the risk of the vocal cords not working properly.
